___________

* Your project may or may not require a Development permit Application.

In general, every project is located on either Designated or Non-Designated Land.

All developments on Non-Designated Land require a Development Permit Application.

For projects on Designated Land, determine the Land’s Zoning (eg. R-1 or R-2 Residential Zoning). If the project you intent to complete falls within the parameters as set forth within the Zoning bylaws (eg. Use, Height, Setbacks, etc) the project will not require a Development Permit Application.

If your project does not fall within the Zoning requirements for your zone, (eg. Over height, lesser setbacks, greater percentage of site coverage you project will require a Development Permit Application or Variance Application.
